Love Thai Delight's Pad See Eww noodles with Tofu! I've tried Pad See Eww everywhere, but Thai Delight has the best brown sauce. My friends really enjoyed their Pad Thai and Fried Rice. You can tell by the taste that the food is very high quality. Plus, the prices are very good.

Really good Thai food. It is our go-to on take out nights. I wish they were open on Sunday though!

Not good. Hands down the worst Thai food I have ever had. My stir-fry was covered in this chunky gravy. I think it was to mask the fact that the chicken was pre-cooked, of it wasn't it tasted like it. So disappointing. The two stars are for the waitress only not the food!

It certainly was Thai, but it most certainly was NOT a delight in any sense of the word. While the owner was very nice to bring the order out to me (I injured my leg), the food brought was all kinds of crap. The Pad Thai was limp and flavorless, as were the crisp rolls. My gf has been to this place numerous times, and she likes it; thus, I thought I'd give it a whirl. But as nice as the people who work there are, I can't in good conscience say anything positive about the food. Put it this way-I don't get Thai food often, and this place is less than 10 minutes from my house, but I would drive the extra 15 minutes out of my way to go to Bangkok Cuisine for the real stuff. Great staff, but this place unfortunately fails to deliver anything more than a literal "poo poo" plater.

Gross. Ordered drunken noodles and it tasted like the bottom of an ashtray. No joke. It literally tasted like it was burnt. I ended up throwing it out and eating my girlfriends chicken pad thai, which was flavorless. I suggest driving to mount clemens and eating at Thai Orchid.

I've read the reviews and everyone has a different tongue. I'm no expert but I do know thai food pretty well. I was married to a thai woman. I've also learned to prepare thai food. Thai Delight is authentic thai food. It is also very good compared to what's available around the area. I was only upset once and that was with the Thai fried rice. It didn't have any real flavor. Maybe an off day, I'll try it again sometime. Otherwise, everything else there has been great. I like that they use tamarind when making some dishes, especially pad thai. Yes, the spice level can be off (or totally different) but let me teach some people something. Thai food should have a kick. Order a level lower then what you think you can handle and get dry chili on the side to spice it up if you need more zip. Ps. The fresh rolls are a great starter or for a light lunch.

From place to place , this was one of the worst thai food i ever eaten and charges good amount of money and little quantity of food and bad quality of meat esp. beef had too much fat on it. Service here wasn't "delight" at all.. I felt like when i pick up food there its like they want me to hurry and leave .

Above par Thai food but inconsistent. Never know what spice level you are going to get and many times my Pad Thai would be extremely dry.

First time there, was delicious... The hot spicy level actually hot... Never thought I would go anywhere but Bangkok for my Thai but this place is pretty darn good...

Loveeeeee their food! Every time I've ordered, I would order something new and the results have been phenomenal! Alwaysssss the freshest ingredients and staff is SUPER friendly! I became addicted to their green tea with Jasmine drink they have that I went searching at international markets for it. Love their food! Love the staff! Love the clean restaurant! Love everything about this place! And I highly recommend trying this place out! Prices are a little steep but so worth it!

This is usually out go-to place for Thai food. We love the Tom yum, Tom kha, pad Thai, vegetable fried rice, vegetable curry, and spring rolls. We've ventured outside of our usual menu comfort zones into things like the drunken noodles and other stir frys but were not as impressed as we were with our regular stand bys listed above. All in all, not bad if you are craving for those specific items.

Have been here 6 or so times for carry out, always good food . Pleasant service. Large selection and variety. They have tables for sit down service as well. Definitely recommend.

This restaurant came highly recommend and I know several people who swear by it. The experience that I had however was awful from the wrong order for my carry out to the peas in my fried rice that were still solid the chicken was dry and tasteless. The Hot Sour soup was on par with the freeze dried peas that were not cooked. I called and was offer two replacement meals my credit will go unclaimed should have asked for my money back. I cannot remember the last time I have a meal this poor in quality. Good Luck this was one of those meals that make you never want to go back.

Service is fast and friendly. It's the best thai food in the Macomb area. We order here all the time for lunch and great every time. I usually order the N3 (Drunken noodle). Be careful on the spice, it's really spicy but I love it! So if you can't handle it, make sure to step it down a notch!

This is a go-to lunch spot for the office. Very friendly team and the food is a step above your average thai place. If you are in the mood for something light, try the Fresh Rolls (glew sot) appetizer. A dish that was recommended to us was the Beef Salad, which is really good. Beef, cucumbers, onions and lime juice with lettuce and rice. It is a spicy dish! We have explored the menu and haven't been disappointed yet.

As with others in Macomb Twp, I've been on the hunt for a good Thai place. Still looking after trying Thai Delight today. We ordered Pad Thai and Pad See Ue as entrees as well as spring rolls and crispy rolls as appetizers. The entrees were ordered mild spice and with chicken. The Pad See Ue had zero spice and the Pad Thai was extremely hot. Outside of the heat, the Pad Thai was fine (except for them offering lemons instead of the traditional lime). The Pad See Ue, on the other hand was terrible. The noodles were tough, the sauce almost tasted scorched and the chicken was dry & over-cooked. The spring and cristy rolls weren't anything worth commenting on either way. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment and the search continues...

Love this place. As of yet, the best thai I have found in the Detroit Metro Area. "But Tony", you ask, "Why only 4 stars instead of 5?" Glad you asked. I will tell you. The thai iced tea. It is good, but inconsistent and I need for my thai iced tea to always be perfect because it is my favorite thing about thai food. I have been to Thai Delight probably about 8 or 9 times and about half the time the thai iced tea was just a little... off. I can't really explain how, it just didn't wow me like thai iced tea usually does. Now the good, nay the AMAZING. These fellas make a dish I haven't been able to find anywhere else-- Pad Thai Curry. "Pad Thai Curry," you say, "that doesn't sound right." It is this wonderful mix of delicious peanut-y pad thai with wonderful spicy panang and I just love the heck out of it. Seriously, it is the best. Oh yeah, the summer rolls are really good too. That is all.

This place is really good! I've only been there twice and I've had Pad Thai both times. Excellent! I have to try some other dishes too!

I used to come to this place all the time when I lived in the area, they had great Pad Thai and the curries were really good. But my last two experiences have been really mediocre. The time before last experience the wife and I came in for lunch and they were extremely busy, we ordered the Satay Chicken as an appetizer and a couple of other dishes, it took 30 min just to get the appetizer and it was crunchy overdone tasteless chicken. Our entree came out cold and gelatinous like they had been waiting for us to finish the appetizer....who knows! Last experience: Decided to give them one more shot since I was passing through and extremely hungry. I ordered Pad Thai and the wife Curry Fried Rice, I have to say this place has really gone to the crapper my Pad Thai was sooo salty, msg maybe but man so ridiculously salty, ugh! The wifes dish was bland and tasted like Rice a Roni the San Fransisco treat, maybe it was who knows. Not sure what happened to this place, ownership change maybe? I will stick to either Bangkok Cafe in Ferndale or Bangkok on Garfield and 19 in the future, I hate mediocre Thai! Hope this helps.

I usually like this place I eat here all the time. Last couple times I think it was too late at night and the meals kind of sucked. Kind of tasted like it was rushed put together but besides that at normal times has been good!

My favorite local spot for Thai food. The staff is super nice and the food is always fast and delicious. I've had the Pad Thai, Basil stir fry and pineapple fried rice-all delicious.

I recently moved to Macomb, which means I'm looking for an all new list of favorite restaurants. I love Thai food. Traveled there twice in the last five years. This was my 3rd trip to Thai Delight, and likely my last. All Thai staff - check Normal Thai/American menu - check Thai trinkets all around - check I tried a Thai curry/potato/onion/coconut rice dish on my first trip. 4 stars. Thai ice tea - 4 stars. Next trip - American Pad Thai. Meh - 3 stars. Yesterday - Pad Thai Curry. Ughh it was awful. I came swimming in grease. I could only eat a few bites. There has to be better around here.
